Flapjacks
Makes 24
Description/Notes:
Sweet syrupy fingers that taste absolutely divine
Ingredients:
4 oz. (100g0 butter 1 oz. (25g) dark brown sugar 8 oz. (200g) rolled oats pinch of salt 1 tablespoon golden syrup
Cooking Instructions:
- Pre-heat oven to 375F, Gas Mark 5, 190C
- Heat the butter ,sugar and syrup together in a saucepan until they melt
- Add the oats and salt then mix well
- Put the mixture into a greased tin, 9 inch X 9 inch (23 cm X 23 cm) and bake for 30 minutes in the top of the oven
- Remove from oven and cut into fingers while still warm
