Honey Raisin Fingers
Makes about 18 biscuits
Description/Notes:
Finger licking, yummy honey biscuits.
Ingredients:
6 oz. (175g) clear honey 6 oz. (175g) flour 3 eggs 3 oz. (75g) butter 6 oz. (175g) raisins 4 oz. (125g) chopped nuts 1 tsp. (5 ml) baking powder
Cooking Instructions:
- Pre-heat oven to 350F, Gas Mark 4, 180C
- Grease a 12 inch (30 cm) X 9 inch (23 cm) shallow baking tin
- Beat the butter and honey together until soft
- Sift together the flour and baking powder
- Fold in the butter mixture and the raisins and nuts
- Press the mixture on to the baking tin and bake in the pre-heated oven for 30 minutes
- Remove from oven when firm and golden brown
- cut into about 18 biscuits
