Cinnamon Apple Crunch
Serves 6
Description/Notes:
Easy to cook spicy apple dessert.
Ingredients:
2 lb. (1kg) cooking apples, peeled and cut into thick slices 8 oz. (225g) porridge oats 4 oz. (100g) margarine 2 oz. (50g) caster sugar 1 tsp. Cinnamon
Cooking Instructions:
- Pre-heat oven to 330F, Gas Mark 2, 150C
- Arrange apples in an ovenproof dish then sprinkle then with sugar
- Warm the margarine in a saucepan and when melted stir in the cinnamon and porridge oats
- Spread the mixture over the apples and bake for 40-45 minutes
