Munchy Cups
Serves 12
Description/Notes:
Tasty bread cups with a wholesome savoury filling
Ingredients:
4 oz. ( 100g ) cream cheese 2 oz. ( 50g ) corned beef, diced 2 tomatoes, diced and deeseeded salt and ground black pepper 12 large slices white bread 4 oz. ( 100g ) butter
Cooking Instructions:
- Pre-heat oven to 400F, Gas Mark 6, 200C
- Roll slices of bread thinly with rolling pin and butter both sides well
- Using a pastry cutter cut seven, one and a half inch ( 3.5 cm ) rounds from each slice
- Lightly grease 12 patty tins
- Place 6 overlapping circles round sides of each patty tin
- Place one circle on base of each cup then press all overlapping edges firmly to seal
- Bake in the pre-heated oven for 15-20 minutes
- Cool in tin
- Mix together all remaining ingredients and divide between the cups
