- To make cream frosting, cream the butter and blend in the icing sugar alternately with the evaporated milk
- Add a couple of drops of essence to taste
- To make coffee frosting, blend in one level tbsp. of powdered coffee with the evaporated milk in the cream frosting recipe before mixing it with the other ingredients
- To make chocolate cream frosting, sift in 3 level tbsps. of cocoa or drinking chocolate with the icing sugar in the cream frosting recipe, then add an extra half a tablespoon of evaporated milk
