Description/Notes:

Thinly sliced potato rounds deep fried to accompany your roast game fowl

Ingredients:

  • potatoes
  • cold water
  • oil or fat for frying
  • salt
  • Cooking Instructions:

    1. Wash and peel the potatoes and cut into very thin rounds
    2. Soak the potato slices in cold water then dry on absorbent kitchen paper
    3. Deep-fry for about 3 minutes then dry on absorbent paper
    4. Deep-fry rapidly for a further 2-3 minutes or until crisp and brown just prior to serving sprinkled with salt
