Tempt your guests with these tasty almond biscuits.


  • 1 large egg white
  • 2 oz. (50g) ground almonds
  • 3 0z. (75g) caster sugar
  • almond essence
  • vanilla essence
  • egg white to brush
  • almonds, split to decorate
  • Cooking Instructions:

    1. Pre-heat oven to 350F, Gas Mark 4, 180C
    2. Line 2 baking trays with rice paper
    3. Whisk egg white until stiff
    4. Add ground almonds, caster sugar and a few drops of vanilla and almond essence
    5. Beat well
    6. Place small spoonfuls of the mixture onto the baking trays
    7. Place an almond on top of each then brush with egg white
    8. Bake on top and middle shelves of oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown
