Recipe: Stuffed Rolls

Start your day the right way with these delicious rolls


  • 4 eggs
  • 2 oz. (50g) cheese, finely grated
  • 4 teaspoons of tomato ketchup
  • melted butter or corn oil
  • 2 tablespoons of milk
  • salt and pepper
  • 4 baps or breakfast rolls
  • Cooking Instructions:

    1. Pre-heat oven to 350F, Gas Mark 4, 180C
    2. Cut the top off each bap and scoop out the center
    3. use the scooped out bread to make a stuffing in a meat mixture
    4. Brush the bread shells and lids with butter or corn oil and put under the grill until lightly toasted
    5. Scramble the eggs and remove from heat when nearly set
    6. Sprinkle the inside of each roll with grated cheese then fill with scrambled egg
    7. Put 1 teaspoon of tomato ketchup in the center of each then replace the lids
    8. Bake in the pre-heated oven for about 5 minutes
